Sauteed goat cheese cakes recipe



Recipe for sauteed goat cheese cakes in our easy appetizer recipes collection.

Recipe ingredients

  • 1 cup leeks, diced
  • 1 pound goat cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten with water
  • 1/2 cup garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

How to make sauteed goat cheese cakes

  • In large fry pan saute leek until soft.
  • Empty into medium bowl.
  • Add in goat cheese, at room temperature, garlic, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
  • Mix well with hands.
  • Make shapes the size of a flattened egg.
  • Dip goat cheese shape into flour, egg and bread crumbs.
  • Fry on medium heat until golden brown.
  • Serve with salad.
