Sauteed mushrooms recipe



Recipe for sauteed mushrooms in our easy appetizer recipes collection.

Recipe ingredients

  • 2 pounds mushrooms, sliced in half
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 sherry
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parsley

How to make sauteed mushrooms

  • In large fry pan cook garlic and pepper flakes in butter on low heat.
  • Add in mushrooms, teriyaki sauce and sherry and cook over medium heat until mushrooms are tender.
  • Remove mushrooms and bring liquid to boil until thickened like syrup.
  • Add in parsley and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Return mushrooms to heat and serve.
  • Can serve with any meat.
