Tomato and basil bruschetta recipe



Recipe for tomato and basil bruschetta in our easy appetizer recipes collection.

Recipe ingredients

  • 1 loaf of french bread, makes 24 pieces
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup basil
  • 2 pounds seeded tomatoes, diced
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

How to make tomato and basil bruschetta

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Cut bread into 4 inch long pieces.
  • Brush pieces of bread with olive oil.
  • Toast in oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • After toasting, rub garlic on the toast.
  • Mix remaining olive oil and tomatoes and basil in bowl.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Top each piece of toast with about one teaspoon of mixture.
  • Place on dish and serve.
