Lightly blanch the artichokes, then saute them (either whole or sliced) in butter. Arrange in a vegetable dish and sprinkle with chopped chervil and parsley. If the artichokes are very tender, the raw hearts may be sliced, rubbed with lemon and sauteed in butter.
