Recipe ingredients:
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 3 cloves fresh garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1, 2 pounds, rump roast
Recipe method:
- Combine soup mix and spices with 3 cups water in a roasting pan.
- Add roast and bake at 350 degrees F for 3 hours turning roast once and basting often with juices.
