Lazy Daisy cake recipe in the cake category
Recipe ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Icing:
- 9 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup coconut
Recipe method:
- Heat 1/2 cup milk and add 2 tablespoons butter.
- Add to the above mixture and mix well. This will be a thin batter.
- Bake in a prepared 9 x 13 inch baking pan in a 375 degrees F oven until done.
- When cake is done pour the following mixture over the top.
- Mix icing ingredients and pour over top of cake.
- Return to oven for a few minutes, to lightly brown the coconut.
- Then remove from oven.
