Out of this world cake recipe in the cake category
Recipe ingredients:
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1, 13 1/2 ounces, box graham cracker crumbs, or 3 1/2 cups
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1, 15 1/4 ounces, can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1, 6 ounces, package frozen coconut
- 1 1/2 cups nuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Recipe method:
- Grease and flour a tube pan.
- Mix all ingredients together using an electric mixer.
- Pour into the tube pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
- Test at 1 1/4 hours with a straw which will come out clean if done.
- Set aside to cool before removing from pan.
