Spice cake recipe in the cake category
Recipe ingredients:
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves, ground
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Recipe method:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and mix well.
- Pour into a buttered 9 x 12 inch pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until firm in the middle.
- Cool on a rack before cutting.
