 Recipe ingredients:

  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter, no substitute
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 pint heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter extract


 Recipe method:

  • Grease and flour a Bundt cake pan.
  • In large bowl cream sugar and butter.
  • Add eggs and flour alternately, mixing well.
  • Add cream and flavorings.
  • Beat at low speed of electric mixer until smooth.
  • Pour into pan.
  • Put in cold oven.
  • Bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325 degrees F.
