Apple pepper jelly


 Apple pepper jelly recipe in the canning category

 Recipe ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup hot pepper (jalapeno, habanero), finely minced
  • 2 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 6 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 package pectin
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Few drops green food coloring

 Recipe method:

  • Mix first four ingredients.
  • Boil pectin and water for one minute.
  • Add green food coloring.
  • Stir all together until sugar is entirely dissolved.
  • Strain and pour immediately into sterilized jars.
