Tamarind marmalade


 Tamarind marmalade recipe in the canning category

 Recipe ingredients:

  • 1 quart tamarinds
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • Granulated sugar, heated

 Recipe method:

  • Simmer tamarinds in water until soft.
  • Put through a sieve to remove fibers and seeds.
  • Measure, then heat the pulp.
  • For each cup of pulp add 1 cup of heated sugar.
  • Simmer, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  • Put mixture into sterilized glass jars, then seal with paraffin.
