Tamarind marmalade
Tamarind marmalade recipe in the canning category
Recipe ingredients:
- 1 quart tamarinds
- 1 1/2 cups water
- Granulated sugar, heated
Recipe method:
- Simmer tamarinds in water until soft.
- Put through a sieve to remove fibers and seeds.
- Measure, then heat the pulp.
- For each cup of pulp add 1 cup of heated sugar.
- Simmer, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Put mixture into sterilized glass jars, then seal with paraffin.
