Souper meat and potatoes pie recipe in the casserole category
Recipe ingredients:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- Salt and pepper
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- Cheddar cheese, shredded
Recipe method:
- Combine first 7 ingredients and press into a 9 inch pie plate.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
- Spoon off fat.
- Frost with mashed potatoes.
- Top with cheese.
- Return to oven for just a couple minutes to melt the cheese and heat the potatoes.
