Brown sugar drop cookies recipe in the cookie category
Recipe ingredients:
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe method:
- Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and milk.
- Blend in dry the ingredients and cover and chill for 1 hour.
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
