Peanut blossoms surprise recipe in the cookie category
Recipe ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups regular flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 package chocolate kisses
Recipe method:
- Combine all ingredients except the chocolate.
- With an electric mixer mix on low speed until dough will form into balls.
- Shape into small balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes in a 375 degrees F oven.
- Top with a chocolate morsel or kiss when removed from the oven.
