Pumpkin nut cookies
Pumpkin nut cookies recipe in the cookie category
Recipe ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 3 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup soft shortening
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups strained pumpkin
Recipe method:
- Cream shortening.
- Add sugar and eggs one at a time.
- Add the pumpkin.
- Stir in all the dry ingredients.
- Gradually stir in the nuts and raisins.
- Drop on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes.
