Sugar drop cookies recipe in the cookie category
Recipe ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe method:
- Cream butter, shortening, sugar, vanilla and egg together.
- Add to dry ingredients and mix until mixture is smooth.
- Blend in 2 tablespoons of milk.
- Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten with bottom of water glass dipped in sugar.
- Bake in a 400 degree oven for 12 minutes or until bottom is browned.
