Jambalaya
Jambalaya recipe in the crockpot category
Recipe ingredients:
- Chicken, cut-up
- 3 onions, chopped
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can cut up tomatoes, 14 oz.
- 1 pound shrimp, shelled, raw
- 2 cups rice, cooked
Recipe method:
- In slow cooker, combine chicken with onions, carrots, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and tomatoes.
- Cook on low 4-5 hours. Add shrimp and rice. Cook on high 30-40 minutes until shrimp is done.
