Pot roast of beef recipe in the crockpot category
Recipe ingredients:
- 3 pounds brisket, rump roast or pot
- 1 to 2 onions, peeled and sliced
- 2 to 3 potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 to 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup water or consomme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe method:
- Put vegetables in bottom of crockpot.
- Salt and pepper meat, then put in pot. Add liquid.
- Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high 4-5 hours.
- Remove meat and vegetables with spatula.
