Paneer with green chilies


 Paneer with green chilies recipe in the curry category

 Recipe ingredients:

  • 200 g. paneer, cut into small cubes
  • 10 to 12 green chilies
  • 3 big tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 dried red chilies
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon long strips of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Few chopped green coriander leaves

 Recipe method:

  • Soak the red chilies in water for few minutes and make a fine paste of them. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry the cumin seeds and onions till slightly brown.
  • Add garlic-ginger paste, chopped ginger, red chili paste, chopped tomatoes and whole green chilies.
  • Fry till masala leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Add salt and garam masala.
  • Add paneer cubes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the paneer is done.
  • Serve.
