Paneer with green chilies
Paneer with green chilies recipe in the curry category
Recipe ingredients:
- 200 g. paneer, cut into small cubes
- 10 to 12 green chilies
- 3 big tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 3 dried red chilies
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon long strips of ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Few chopped green coriander leaves
Recipe method:
- Soak the red chilies in water for few minutes and make a fine paste of them. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, fry the cumin seeds and onions till slightly brown.
- Add garlic-ginger paste, chopped ginger, red chili paste, chopped tomatoes and whole green chilies.
- Fry till masala leaves the sides of the pan.
- Add salt and garam masala.
- Add paneer cubes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the paneer is done.
- Serve.
