Fabulous fudge
Fabulous fudge recipe in the fudge category
Recipe ingredients:
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, or butterscotch
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
Recipe method:
- Combine milk and sugar in large saucepan.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a rolling boil.
- Lower heat, but still boiling, stirring, for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add chocolate chips, corn syrup, butter and vanilla extract.
- Stir until chips are melted and smooth.
- Quickly add chopped nuts and pour into buttered 9 inch square pan.
- Cool and cut into desired size pieces.
