Toll House fudge
Toll House fudge recipe in the fudge category
Recipe ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe method:
- Bring butter, sugar, evaporated milk and salt to a boil in medium size, heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in marshmallows, morsels, walnuts and vanilla extract.
- Stir vigorously until marshmallows are melted.
- Pour into foil lined 8 inch square pan.
- Sprinkle with walnuts if desired.
- You may substitute butterscotch chips for chocolate chips.
