Baked stuffed pineapple pork chops recipe
Recipe for baked stuffed pineapple pork chops in the pork recipes category
Recipe ingredients:
- 6, 1/2 inch, thick center cut pork chops
- 1 small can pineapple slices
- Stuffing:
- 6 slices day old bread
- 1 onion, either fried or microwaved
- 2 stalks celery, either fried or microwaved
- 1 or 2 eggs
Recipe method:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place pork chops in a baking dish in oven, covered, and bake approximately 30 minutes. Do not turn over.
- Pour off excess grease, if necessary. Do not let the pork chops become too brown.
- Mix all stuffing ingredients with a little water.
- Remove pork chops from baking pan.
- Uncover, place stuffing mixture on top of each pork chop.
- Return to oven, uncovered, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes more, checking to be sure the pork does not stick or burn.
- If moisture evaporates, add 1/2 cup of water.
- Ten minutes before done, place a pineapple slice on each pork chop and finish baking.
