Candied pork chops
Candied pork chops recipe in the pork category
Recipe ingredients:
- 5 thick pork chops
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Recipe method:
- Spread 1 cup brown sugar in bottom of baking dish.
- Pour 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/8 cup lemon juice over brown sugar.
- Place pork chops on top and spread remaining brown sugar, ketchup and lemon juice over chops.
- Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours, turning once.
- The last 15 minutes, increase oven temperature to 425 degrees F to candy the chops.
