 Clams italiano recipe in the seafood category

 Recipe ingredients:

  • 2 dozen littleneck clams
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup bottled marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons chopped scallions


 Recipe method:

  • Scrub clams well under cold running water.
  • Place in microwave-safe dish with wine.
  • Microwave on high 3 to 5 minutes until shells open.
  • Discard any unopened clams.
  • Meanwhile, combine marinara, parsley and scallions.
  • Spoon over clams.
  • Microwave on medium-high for 2 minutes.
