Roasted green beans with balsamic vinegar recipe in the vegetarian category
Recipe ingredients:
- 2 pounds green beans
- 5 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Recipe method:
- Toss green beans, garlic, olive oil and salt in baking dish.
- Roast in a 350 degrees F oven. No need to preheat oven.
- After 20 minutes, pour the balsamic vinegar over the green beans on the baking sheet.
- Stir and continue to roast in over for another 10 minutes, or until the green beans have the texture you would like.
- Once removed from oven, add 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt and stir.
- Variations: Roasted asparagus: use asparagus spears in place of green beans. Try this with other vegetables.
